DELIVERANCE SERVICE SUNDAY:
As scheduling permits, Father Bill holds a Deliverance Service on the first Sunday of each month. Please sign up for our email/text list and we will update you once a month about that month’s service.

Where: Saint Anthony of Padua Church 1500 S. 50th Ave., Cicero
Parking:
(a) There is a parking lot on the east side of the church
(b) Parking is also available on the streets on the west and north sides of the church
(c) There is a parking lot and additional street parking at 15th St. & 49th Ct., ½ block east of the front door of the church (the church runs north and south; the front door is at the north end of the church). Take 50th Ave. to 15th St. (which is one way east bound) then one block east to the parking lot & adjacent diagonal street parking spaces
The following resources for spiritual warfare will be available at the service. All these items will be blessed.
- Saint Benedict medals
- Saint Michael the Archangel devotional oil
- Other spiritual warfare materials such as prayer books for the spiritual warfare
The deliverance service will have the benefit of extra prayer power:
- A Carmelite nun will be praying for us.
- A Trappist monk who is a priest will also be praying for us.
- A holy woman who is a mystic and whose prayers are very powerful will be joining us at the service or praying for us.
- Another woman who has been called to a prayer ministry will be joining us or praying for us.
- Other holy people with whom I work with in spiritual direction also pray for us during the service.
Music & singing for the service
I invite anyone who can play the guitar, keyboard or other instrument or who can sing well to lead us in the hymns for exposition and reposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Thank you!
Who The Deliverance Service Is For
Anyone – adults, young people, youth or children – who have reason to believe they are afflicted by an evil spirit(s). Typically these evils come into someone’s life when they visit or have an ancestor that has visited a psychic or witch, consult a card reader, play with an ouija board or otherwise have contact with the occult (the hidden actions of the devil in the world).
Feel free to invite others who are afflicted by evil. They are welcome to come to this service.
If you know someone whom you think is afflicted by evil and they cannot – or will not – come to the service, you can come and participate on their behalf. Offer the prayers, anointing etc. for them. That would be a great act of charity on their behalf!
The following prayer books will be handed out to those who do not have them. You may also purchase them yourself from the sources indicated. If you already have one or more of these books please bring them with you to the service. All of these books may not be available at the deliverance service.

What This Service Is Not Intended For
This deliverance service is not directed to the healing of physical and mental health problems such as:
- Physical sicknesses, for example a cold, the flu etc
- Diseases such as cancer, COVID, diabetes, heart disease etc
- Ailments such as arthritis, acid reflux etc
- Mental health challenges such as addiction, excessive anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder etc.
Those seeking help in healing from these health problems are welcome to attend Deacon Jesse Blanco’s Sources of Healing (Fuentes de Sanación) the first Tuesday of the month 6:00 PM at St. Frances of Rome Church, Cicero. He also offers this service at St. Mary of Celle Church, Berwyn the third Tuesday of the month 6:00 PM.
Both the Deliverance Service and Sources of Healing Service include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
Deliverance Intention
If you cannot come to the deliverance service or feel you don’t need to (most people do not need this service) I ask you to pray for the following intention. Feel free to share it with anyone who would also include it in their prayers.
For those afflicted by evil spirits, especially those listed in Fr. Bill Zimmer’s deliverance intention and those who have attended his monthly deliverance services, that they will be completely freed from this evil and live the rest of their lives in peace.
If you decide to discontinue coming to this deliverance service
I would appreciate knowing the reason you discontinue participating in this service:
- Have you been liberated from the evil afflicting you and no longer need the deliverance service? If so I would appreciate a written testimony stating that. Your testimony would be kept confidential unless you indicate otherwise in your communication. My contact info is at the bottom of this email. Thank you!
- Do you feel it is not worth coming to this service anymore because it has not been helpful in liberating you from evil? If so would you have any suggestions for making it more effective?
- Another reason for no longer coming to the service?
